Membership Policies

Shipments will be sent automatically four times a year. Each shipment will be billed to the credit card provided on your application. If any changes need to be made to the shipping or billing information, those changes are to be made prior to the charge date of each shipment.

• Three shipments qualify members for benefits. Thereafter, members may cancel any time, and stop shipments simply by notifying us by mail, email, or telephone at least two weeks before the scheduled shipping date. If a membership is not cancelled within the two-week period, the final shipment and charges will proceed as scheduled.
• Cancellation Policy: Refugio Ranch honors discounts and benefits at the time of enrollment as a courtesy to our new members. If membership is cancelled prior to accepting three shipments, you will be billed back the discounts received including but not limited to the retail value of all complimentary tastings, glasses of wines, etc.
• Swap Policy: We provide two weeks notice prior to the processing of your wine allocation. After an allocation is processed we can swap out wines for equal or greater value, based on your preferences. We will hold your allocation for up to six months, but we cannot guarantee that your selected wines will be in stock past this date. We will be happy to make the required changes at the time of pickup.
• Hold Policy: We can hold your membership for up to two allocations. During this time you will lose your benefits and they will automatically reengage once you have received your next wine allocation.
• Free tastings are offered per individual guest, per visit. For example, if your membership level allows for four free tastings/visit, but there are only two guests in your party, you will only be given two free tastings (rather than each guest receiving two tastings).
• Member must be present to receive member benefits and membership is nontransferrable. For example, your sister, cousin or grandfather may not come in and take advantage of your member benefits. But depending on your club level, you may take advantage of our "Member for a Day" benefit. Please inquire with our Mebership Concierge for details: concierge@gleasonfamilyvineyards.com
• Skip Policy: You may skip one shipment per year and retain your member benefits. Skipping more than one shipment per year results in forfeiture of your member benefits. 
• Refugio Ranch reserves the right to request additional information, reject any application, cancel any membership or change policies and membership benefits listed within this brochure at any time.
• It is federal law that all alcohol deliveries must be signed for by someone 21 years of age or older. The carrier will not leave your wine without this signature, so it is the responsibility of the member to provide us with an address where an adult is reasonably available to sign for and receive wine packages.
• Please inform Refugio Ranch of any changes including shipping address, credit card information, etc., at least two weeks prior to a wine shipment.
• Unreported changes of address, non-delivery, and forwarding of packages resulting in additional shipping fees will be charged to the member.
• The carrier will attempt to deliver you shipment three times. After the third attempt, the package will be returned to us. If this happens, we will be happy to reship it to you. In this instance, shipping charges will be incurred in addition to a $25 return fee.
  Re-directed or refused shipments are subject to a $25 fee.
• 10% off on bottle purchases and 2 for 1 tastings for up to two guests offered to Members of all levels within the Gleason Family Vineyards portfolio (Roblar, Refugio, Royal Oaks).

We utilize UPS as our default carrier. If another carrier is preferred, please notify us in advance of your shipment.
